"I don't really know how to use AI in my Phoenix / LiveView apps without second-guessing my architecture."

Sound familiar? You're not alone.

The hard part of AI in Elixir isn't autocomplete. It's knowing where AI fits, where it doesn't, and how to integrate it without distorting your design.

Bruce Tate's AI Agents for Elixir teaches disciplined, real-world workflows. Anti-vibe-coding for Elixir developers.

If you're juggling Ecto migrations, one-off scripts, and Oban workers for data migrations, Ivy Markwell introduces Monarch, a library that standardizes the process. Built on top of Oban, it automatically discovers and runs your data migrations when the app starts.

A recent study showed Elixir had the highest completion rate across AI models among 20 languages. José Valim explores why: immutability enables local reasoning, quality docs ensure good training signal, and stability keeps it correct over time. He also covers how Elixir's tooling fits agentic workflows.

Matt Savoia noticed that Phoenix's generated table component uses phx-click with JS.navigate instead of actual links, breaking Ctrl+Click and other link behaviors. He shows how to fix it by adding a row_link attribute that renders a proper anchor tag while still keeping LiveView's navigation benefits.

Médi-Rémi Hashim shows some of the downsides of CSRF tokens and presents an alternative: since 2023, all major browsers send a Sec-Fetch-Site header that lets servers detect cross-origin requests. He built a Plug that uses it to replace Phoenix's default CSRF protection.
